Widget Stuck on desktop

I have a white pages widget stuck on my desktop. I did not put it there, but just after my iBook freezed it was just there. When I open up dashboard to try to delete it, it's almost like it's not a part of dashboard anymore. How do I get it off?

Open activity monitor and try to kill it from there. It should show up as a normal application process

I tried that and nothing.

Do the following:

Click it and begin to drag it around a little bit, DO NOT LET UP ON THE MOUSE

Press F12

Let go and exit dashboard.

Can't forcequit the people DashboardClient process? Have you tried to restart? Maybe trash the plist file for the widget

Deleting the plist file and then killing it in the activity monitor worked. Thanks.
