Widows 10 ver. 1803 - Mail app can't sign into iCloud

I've been using Windows 10 forever, and the Mail app has been fine with my iCloud account. When I let Windows 10 upgrade to the latest April revision, it breaks my access to iCloud and I'm unable to fix it.

Twice I've upgraded and rolled back, thinking that I allowed enough time for the kinks to be patched before my most recent go.

Anyone else run into this, not run into this?

MS issued a patch/update a few hours ago in the Store that fixed my app's connection issues with iCloud.

Just updated. It automatically downloaded the new patch for Mail, but it failed the first time I tried to use it.

I had to go into Privacy settings and give Mail the permission to access my e-mail.. which seems strange. After that it still wouldn't find the account until I did a full reboot, now all good.
