Wifi 5ghz issue

I updated through iTunes and then did my update on my ipad over wifi. Now I cannot connect my iphone 5 to my 5ghz wifi.

I rebooted the phone and when I try and join it it says unable.

Any one else having issues like this??

As far as I'm aware the iPhone 5 does not support 5Ghz.

of course it does. i dont have probs. remove the network and re-add..or reset network settings.

Ok it has all of sudden connected! Strange, it only took 35 minutes of trying!

And yes the 5 supports 5ghz wifi
