So I had to exchange my 5C due to my home button not working, and now my replacement seems have trouble getting signal from both wifi and cellular. when i returned home last night the phone would not connect to my home wifi, nothing worked at all, except a restore. And now it seems that the 5c is not picking up a good cellular signal, my iphone 4 was faster with data speeds. is anyone else encountering this issue? If it helps at all, I am on verizon. Whenever I restore, it sits forever "searching...." til it finds the verizon service. It seems really slow to pick up cellular service. I did a speed test and got 2MBPS down and about .5mbps Up and that was on LTE. LTE randomly disappears and i end up at 3G or 1x. I live in and work in Baltimore City.

I think you may need to get another replacement. Im on my 2nd replacement as well. The 5C is a great looking device, but there seems to be some kind of issue with Cellular reception. My first did the same thing and it lost sound out of the speaker and wouldn't charge all the way. Now I'm on day 3 with this one and so far so good ... Knock on wood

Do i just go back to the apple store and ask for an exchange? or do i do a genius bar appointment?

The 5C should actually have better reception, because it does not suffer from anyone holding on to the metal.

cool, i have an appointment for tomorrow, I hope the issue happens while im there, so they swap my phone. i spoke to an apple care specialist via chat so i hope i have that on my side. my boyfriends 5c on the same account/provider is not having these issues.
