I want to access wifi at my school. I used wifinder but it says the network was hidden. How do I access the wifi? It looks as if there is no security.

You would have to know the name of the network and then you can select "Other" under the Wi-Fi Networks list and enter it there.

Settings > Wi-Fi > Other...

this type of question always makes me laugh.
Just go ask the schools technical department about the loggin on details. If it's an open source with no security then they'll happily oblige, why wouldn't they. If it's protected or mac protected and hidden as well then you'll have no chance of joining unless you know the passwords and should also get permission.

Not to dampen your spirits, but it is highly unlikely you will be able to score access to your school's network.

Not only do they take time to set up users with passwords and proxies for their connection, they also take time to secure their networks with passwords.

Even if you do get on, most of the content you would want would probably be filtered.

Not to mention, it's probably against the usage policy of your school to have unauthorized device connected to the school's network.

Regards.
