WiFi bug caused by being plugged into power?

Not sure if this is a bug in El Capitan or something with my MacBook Air, but I may have discovered a bug with the WiFi. Whenever I'm plugged into power and walk away from the laptop for a bit and then come back to wake it, websites never load or do so very slowly in Safari. Once I disable WiFi and reenable it, they load normally once again. The reason I think it has to do with being plugged into the wall is because it doesn't happen when I'm not plugged in.

    Anyone else experience this?

Most likely cause is electrical inteference caused by a poor contact at the magsafe connector.
