WiFi camera SD card pictures to iPad

Has anyone tried transferring pictures from a camera with a wifi SD card to iPad via an app like air share?
 
The Pro version of the Eye-Fi card sets up an Ad-Hock network so it seems it might be possible to get it on something like AirCard
