Trying to see if anyone has this issue and has had it resolved. I recently bought the iPhone 15 Pro Max and throughout the day at home the WiFi will disconnect and switch to 5G. I have to manually reconnect to the WiFi network when this happens. Additionally sometimes it won’t disconnect but the internet will stop working completely and I have to toggle WiFi off and back on.

Additional Details:
Router/Modem: Arris G54
SSID: Combined with 2.4, 5, and 6Ghz
WAP Location: Central of house
iPhone not connected to VPN but have a DNS profile installed.
In WiFi settings on iPhone:
Auto Join - On
Low Data Mode - Off
WiFi 6E Mode - Automatic

I have tried restarting the phone, putting the phone in DFU mode and setting up from scratch, forgetting my WiFi network and rejoining. This doesn’t happen on any of the other devices I have and didn’t happen on the iPhone 14 Pro Max I traded in.

Any ideas?

Try switching WiFi Assist off on your iPhone. From what I've read online, this can sometimes cause WiFi to disconnect.

Of course, the issue could be at the router side, so I'd try resetting that too if you can.

Thanks! Turned that off, additionally, turned off “Private WiFi Address” and “Network & Wireless” in the location system services. Read about those two and so far no disconnects. Fingers crossed.

I've been having a similar issue with my 15 Pro since launch. A while back they said a software update would fix it, but it didn't. I'm going to try this now.
