For some reasons, my network on MBP keeps dropping out very frequently.

- First the issue came with waking MBP from sleep
- Next even if the MBP is rebooted, I get this problem every few minutes even when copying files from MBP to a USB HDD. Strange

Anyone else has faced this issue?

I am on OS X Mavericks 10.9.2

While in a location which you've had problems at, option + click on Wi-Fi in the menubar. What's your transmit rate?

Right now I have the connection, the transmission rate is 20 to 39

That's pretty low, I would try to improve your signal strength. Move closer to your router, move your router, make sure your router has a couple feet of air space around it (this can really effect it).
