Okay so I'm using leopard and the internal wifi doesn't work. I am going to either replace the internal card or get a usb device. One thing I was thinking of was using my ipod touch as an access point. So it would look like this:

laptop (with no wifi) connected via usb to ipod touch that has wifi

would it be possible using a network share?

pdanet 1.5 allows for tethering via usb form the iphone 3g signal

seems to me it would be somewhat easy now to simply use wifi as the source and tether via usb....a wifi usb dongle

If you're a developer it may theoretically be possible, but I'm not aware of any existing software solution that would allow this functionality.
