I have installed DP4 to my MacBook. With SL I wake my Mac from sleep when opening the lid, log-in and my WiFi would be connected to my Time Capsule and I could hit the WWW running. Now when I open my Mac, it takes from 5 to 60 seconds for it to connect to my network. In fact if I click on available networks, it shows everything around me, but when I click on my network, nothing happens. Anyone else seeing this issue and is there a fix? I searched for the issue but haven't found anyone post about it yet.

Check the system.log and see what is going on during those 5 to 60 secs.
I'm not seeing that issue on wake from sleep. Mine connect right away.

My problem with my 11" MBA is not Wifi, but it no longer has the instant wake when the lid is open. The screen boots up right away, but the trackpad and keyboard is frozen for about 3-5 seconds.

Seems to be a random issue for me. This time I was good to go right from the start. But I will look at Sys Logs the next time I have the issue and post. Thx

I don't see any network or wifi errors, just a lot of time machine and spotlight errors. Unless I missed it.

All three times today when I woke my MacBook up, it won't connect to the WiFi.

Not sure what is the issue, but only happen after going to Lion.

So I erased the KeyChain entry and now things seems to be working like normal. Must have been corrupted when I upgraded. Thanks all.

I found a SOLUTION to the problem

I have a Macbook, and was experiencing the EXACT annoying problem. I called the apple support phone number and they gave me a solution to the problem and it finally works again!

1. Go to system preferences and open or click Network

2. On the Wifi tab, click on Advanced button near the lower right corner

3. On the Wi-Fi tab go to the Preferred Networks box where it lists the networks your computer knows to connect to

4. Now delete all of the networks that you do not recognize, especially ones that may be in your apartment building or that your computer may be in range of. Make sure that your network is at the top of the list. You can drag them. The tech person said it was ok to have a couple other ones, but to make sure that mine was at the top of the list.

5. CLick OK then apply. now try it out and see if it worked

At first Safari gave me the same error message but about 3-5 seconds later it automatically loaded up my homepage. Then after 2 more times of shutting or putting my computer to sleep to test it, it started loading my homepage like normal again. I really hope this works for you because I know how enraging the problem is !
