WiFi issues! Seriously?

    I have my MBP in the kitchen along with my iPhone. They both have full bars on WiFi and never drop out.

    I bring my iPad into the living room or kitchen and it drops out all the time. Even in my room it will disconnect and say "connecting" 4-5 times while using safari.

    I've restored the iPad as new, I've tried reseting network connections in settings. Power cycled my router and modem.

    Is there a solution for my problem? Or am i SOL?

    You can return it but this apparently is not an uncommon issue.

    I feel ya. I have been through two wifi's and now I'm on my 3rd one which
    Is a 3G and it's rock solid so I think I finally have a winner. But I am also using two airport extreme's in my house and that has helped a ton. Send it back and get another one.

    Sorry to hear you're having issues. Have you tried any of the suggestions in the dozens of other wifi related threads here and on the apple boards? Common fixes seem to be switching from WEP to WPA (which btw should have been done years ago), changing channels, or trying a new wireless access point/router. Luckily i have had no wifi issues on a variety of networks thus far. I use a first gen time capsule set to b/g/n mode at home and it works throughout the house (3000 sq ft) and outside even.

    I've actually started logging all the wifi networks I've connected to to track which ones work and which do not. So far I've not encountered one that doesn't work.
