Hi Everyone

I bought an album from the wifi iTunes store on my iPod Touch, connected it to iTunes and selected the "Transfer purchases from Steve's iPod Touch" option. The tracks started to transfer across but I STUPIDLY hit the little 'x' icon to cancel the transfer by mistake.

Now, when I select "Transfer purchases" again, nothing happens as though iTunes thinks it's synced all my purchases across already and doesn't realise that I stopped it.

I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting my iPod, restarting iTunes, nothing seems to work.

Anyone know what I need to do, I really want to burn my new album to CD!

Thanks

Steve

OK now I'm *really* concerned. I have just gone through my music on my iPod and now the album has disappeared from the iPod altogether. So the simple act of cancelling the transfer (which I could legitimately have wanted to do) has actually DELETED all existence of the album I paid for.

Luckily I still have the e-mailed receipt from the iTunes store so I have clicked 'report a problem' on that and will wait for an Apple rep to look into it.

This is a really nasty bug that Apple need to fix.

To summarize: clicking the 'x' (cancel) icon while transferring your purchase from your iPod will DELETE your purchase. So don't do it!
