Hi,

I had installed Windows 10 1909 Pro using Bootcamp on ma new MacBook Pro 13 I5/16/512 (4-PORT). So far, so good.
My Problem is the wifi (driver?) came with bootcamp for the Broadcom Wifi chipset. I getting very slow download rates in Windows.
I uses here in Germany a Fritz Box 7590. Mac OS is fine (full AC speed). The Fritz Box reports a "normal" 5GHz AC connection with full speed. I using Wifi Channel 100. In MacOS (is new for me), all working fine. I see on internet based speed tests my full VDSL 100 (100 Mbit/s) in download.
On Windows, I had only 10-20 Mbit/s. I tried Parallels, but I found Citrix Workspace is too slow inside.
Yes, I know: Citrix Workspace is also available for Mac OS. But unfortunately, the top menu bar and the docker in full screen drives me crazy.
The is no way to disable it in full screen. I had also trouble to get ALT-F1 working with the remote session (it is a very special thing).

Any hints about the slow wifi in Bootcamp?

No clue about your networking on Windows, but:

CMD+Alt+D; Dock is now hidden.
System Preferences -> Generel -> Auto Hide/show the menu bar; Your menu bar is now hidden.

You can also change the F keys to work like normal F keys from System Preferences or just hold the fn key when needed

I must often move the mouse to the upper edge. The menu bar came down as overlay very quickly and I can't reach the controls on my remote windows session. We must run Vmware Horizon View Client inside the Citrix session. Here are the keyboard problems. German special chars are not forwarded to the View-Session und the ALT-Key wont't work correctly.
Parallels has such option to fully disable the top menu an the dock. But Citrix Workspace....

I see. Sounds like the developers haven't done the best job with the Mac release of their software, since it should be on them to make a full screen mode that blocks or slows down the menu bar reappearing and also to properly forward any character in the unicode set.
Is it both alt keys? Often virtual machines distinguish left side for host machine input and right side for guest machine input.

Sorry, currently, I don't remember it. It was only a quick test.
There are some tweaks for the keyboard inside citrix workspace config file (if I ever find a doc). But the menu bar thing is a personal blocker for remote home work.

Ok, I found it: The Bootcamp driver don't work correctly, if PMF (protected management frame) is enabled on my Fritz Box. (Please Apple: give us better drivers).

While Apple are responsible for distributing the Bootcamp drivers, and it is definitely their fault that they rarely keep them well up to date, they do not create the Windows drivers (generally speaking). - There may be a newer Broadcom driver that fixes it, but if there's a bug with the driver it's a bug that was made by Broadcom not by Apple, though it was distributed by Apple, so I'm not saying not to hold them accountable.

Sure, but the drivers are custom made for Apple and Apple must request a fix from Broadcom.
BTW: The MacOS driver working fine.

Absolutely Apple is responsible for requesting and distributing a fix since they ship the bootcamp driver package for their Macs. But most the time the drivers are not custom made. They are the generic Windows driver for the chip in question.
If Apple buys the same Broadcom chip that's used in some Windows laptops, there's no reason for Broadcom to make a new version of their Windows driver.
Sometimes what you get with the bootcamp package contains specialised drivers, but most of it is the regular stuff, just hooked into Apple's update mechanism

There are two things to consider here: first attempt testing with an alternative network and determine if there is a performance impact under Windows and check Windows Update for drivers. Open Device Manager as an Administrator and right click on the wireless adapter and choose "Update Driver". Allow Device Manager to search automatically and query Windows Update to see if there is an alternative driver available for the card. The majority of network cards in Macs are far from anything special.

Already done. The drivers from Bootcamp itself are the latest. It tried a bit older version found on Microsofts Update catalog. But this drivers wont work (Code 10). PMF is a relative new security extension for WPA2 and it's required for WPA3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11w-2009

Are you experiencing the slow performance on all wireless networks under Windows or just one network in particular?
