Wifi only with using tethering/wifi + 3G. Both the same?

Hi,

I'm just curious if there would be any draw backs to using a wifi only iPad with tethering to having the wifi + 3G model? Are there going to be any apps I'm not going to be able to get the most of?

I can't see why any app would be unable to get the most out of a 3G connection wether it's tethered or native on the device.

I was originally going to get a wifi + 3G iPad 2 but since the hotspot feature will work with AT&T on day one I'm just going to get a wifi only iPad.

THe only thing to worry about is battery usage on the IP4 when tethering. It will drain quite quickly.

There is no GPS in the wifi only ipad
