iPhone Wifi problems after iOS7 JB

Hi, iv recently just JB'd my iphone 4s to 7.0.4 and now im getting a small wifi problem.

When im not using it and its off, on lockscreen, i very rarely get notifications from whatsapp/fb msgr/twitter etc. only when i slide to unlock wifi comes back on and then sometime a bunch of msgs etc come through.

i looked at this thread https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1689965/ and see the wifi radio could be the case, but i never had this problem on ios 6 untill i went to 7 last week.

so any help would be appreciated 🙂

So, did the problem manifest itself when you upgraded to iOS 7 or when you performed the JB?

My only advice is that when you upgrade from 6 to 7, you always "Set up as new" and do not restore from a backup. I had terrible WiFi problems with my iPad because I let it restore from an old backup. Once I did a full restore as new, all the problems went away.

i restored from backup. not really wanting to install ios7 again and re jailbreak it but if need be....


edit> restored phone completely. hasnt helped...
