Wifi problems on MBPr - is it hardware?

I'm having an issue where my wifi would cut in and out when the monitor goes to sleep. It requires me to turn off and on the wifi to connect again - anyone else got this problem? Is this a bad wifi module and is hardware? If so I can still return my unit and get a new one.
