I dropped my itouch in water and after drying it and all that it started working. I had to restore everything, but now it works, I have added songs and pictures to it and the music plays fine.
Problem- the Wi Fi option is greyed out, even if Iam in a Wi Fi zone...it just reads, 'NO Wi-Fi'...
Could that be some permanent damage due to the water or does anyone know of anyway to solve this?
I wld be grateful for any ideas...i miss all my apps!

Since there's water damage it's more or less pointless to try and troubleshoot the problem when it's most likely due to something you can't fix. If you stand next to your access point and the iPod touch can't see the network while another device can see it just fine, you should get a new iPod touch.
