WiFi Signal Strength

I can't find any setting, or status page to show what the strength of a WiFi Network I'm connected to in the Apple OS. I have no trouble finding it in Windows, but for some reason, can't find it in the Mac OS. Does the OS have such a status indicator? If so, where can I find it?

the AirPort icon in the menu bar indicates the strength by showing a number of bars out of 4 i.e. 4 bars would be full strength.

if you dont have the AirPort icon in your menu bar you can add it by going to Network in System Preferences and ticking "Show Airport status in menu bar"
