I don't have that trouble, but I do have a 6 Mbps connection. These people and "only" 20 down. Bah!
Yea. I remember when my 6 Mbps connection seemed blazing fast. Now it's the bottom rung of "high speed" internet. And with ATT (Ameritech/SBC/Yahoo), that is the fastest that it will ever be. Now I'm faced with having to download Mountain Lion, and that is 4GB+. I have no idea how long that will take. Hour and hours would be my guess. I wish I could get it on a DVD.

My iPad 3 tops out at the same speed as my wired connection and my Macbook Air. No shock there. :)

I have a 4Mbps connection and while I didnt watch closely I think it only ended up taking a couple hours, not over 3 for sure.

well i think it's normal. my air can get the wifi signal outside the house while my new iPad and iPhone 4S can't.

I have a 6mbps connection, sucks, can't even stream 720p on YouTube without constant buffering.

I have 30mbps download, and I also can't stream 720p without buffering sometimes. YouTube seems to be throttling each person below their actual max download speed because of limited resources. Sometimes it's fine, and sometimes it's slow. Now that I think about it, it's been good recently.

My 30mbps u/d is great, but the DNS is sometimes so bad that pages take way longer to load overall than 6mbps DSL. It says "contacting website.com..." for a while before actually loading. I feel like Verizon does this on purpose as a way to throttle the FiOS users. It doesn't do it very often now, but it used to be worse, and a few months ago, the DNS actually died completely for hours sometimes.

Youtube app sucks on the iOS. Try using youtube via safari, it's much faster loading the videos. I think youtube app tried to load the highest possible quality in iOS, or it is just plain sucks. The youtube app in android ismuch much faster.

I was talking about in Safari on Mac. YouTube sometimes just doesn't want to upload quickly.
