Wifi sync failed with a mac

I have wifi sync turned on on my iphone 4s, and in itunes it is checked to enable the device to sync over wifi. They are both on the same network, and the iphone is being charged by a wall usb charger. When I click sync either in itunes, or on the phone, it fails to sync and an little exclamation point appears in itunes and says the sync failed to start.

Any thoughts?

If you've not done so, reboot phone and computer and try again. I've seen mine get a little confused sometimes when I was running the ios5 betas and this fixed it.

That happened to me.

• Turn off phone.
• Close iTunes.
• Turn on phone.
• Open iTunes.

Should fix it!
