Since Ipod touch has been released, I have this question or doubt ...
Does Wifi sync (with streaming functions) can be added by firmware update since ipod touch already has wifi ???? If yes, do you think It will be done by apple ???
thank you !
obs. sorry for my english ... I´m brazilian !:)

It's possible, but not likely. I would be surprised if Apple did that.

And if someone else made software for that, Apple would likely disable it like they did with the apps on iPhone.

New Zune 80gb...

Now with the new zune 80gb on november and with zune´s new (wireless sync + sharing + streaming capabilities), apple should think on adding such a feature on ipod touch. That would be soooooo damn good ! (I guess it just won´t happen though :()

I think it's technically feasible, but probably won't happen. It just doesn't sound like something Apple would do ad hoc. Although IMO Apple needs to offer more features on the WiFi (rendezvous text messaging would be nice, etc.)

Hopefully people crack the touch open and allow us to run unsigned apps, too. If that happens then we'll find lots of ways to use the wifi.

lol, indeed, but its a nice function, apple should think about it.
