Be careful, WIFi Sync has compatibility issues with the latest version of iTunes: http://wifisync.zendesk.com/entries/197886-wi-fi-sync-and-itunes-version-9-2

Seems the dev has little interest in acknowledging or dealing with it.

I guess this is whats causing my problem... I open the app, it pairs with my computer, but the sync does not start for some reason...

Actually that's not true. I read that it does not sync photos due to the way Itunes handles photo sync with the iphone.

hmmm...all working fine here. i really like this app; i can be at home, with my mac on, and make some changes to my schedule, open wifisync, and all is well (have even dragged songs from my desktop into my phone thru it)...

I believe it's a PC issue. I would like it too if it worked and at least if the dev acknowledged the problem.

I'm on an imac... Does itunes have to be open for it to work?

It doesn't work with iPhoto, but does work with photos in general.

It opened iTunes when it ran (but didn't close it). At least on the PC. If you turned off "backup your iPhone when syncing" it would work most of the time. This only applied to the latest version of iTunes (which is required for the iPhone 4). Those on earlier versions of iTunes with earlier phones seem to have no problem.

iTunes will automatically open when you open the Wi-Fi Sync app on your device.

thanks for the help guys. I deleted/reinstalled wifi sync, rebooted both iphone and computer and now its working. AWESOME app, btw, I never did sync nearly enough.

Yeah, it works perfect on my home network, the good news is that iPhone Explorer, PhoneDisk also work over the same connection, so I can Sync itunes and edit/add/remove files at the same time.

Highly unlikely IMO but who knows.
