So we all know that the iPad needs AC connection to wifi sync. Just had a few app updates, and synced my iPhone 4 It now say's that it needs AC connection too?

Guess it's not really wireless...:)

Did you mark the check box in iTunes to sync the device wirelessly? Once you do, the iP4s Will sync completely wirelessly as will the 3Gs and 4 if they are running iOS5. I have my 3Gs and 4s syncing on the same computer with no wires with no problem...other than it's a little slower.

I sync my iPhone 4, 4S and iPad 2 wirelessly every other day ... and not while charging. They sync perfectly on battery power. After I ticked the wi-fi sync check box in iTunes (as the poster above said) I can either innate a wireless sync anytime from the settings on a iOS device, or through iTunes which shows all the iOS devices connected to it wirelessly.
