whats your reasoning for not wanting to JB? originally I only jail broke for the tethering, but there is so many other reasons to do it

Unfortunately My Uk Network do not allow Tethering on Pay As You Go which is akin to PrePaid across the pond.

I'd gladly pay for the service if my Network permitted it.

Just jailbreak then use tetherme or mywi. Totally worth it.
