Wii Star Wars games and Lightsaber add-ons

We got our son the new Clone Wars Lightsaber battles game, and were thinking about getting some of the lightsaber add-ons for the Wiimote. Has anyone tried out either the Kobian Glo Swords or the Thrustmaster Lightsaber units? The Amazon reviews are kind of poloarized - people either love 'em or think they're junk.

Personally, I know my son would go nuts for either of these sets, but I'm not sure how excited I am to put such an LCD-destroying weapon in his hands. As a parent, it is very easy to imagine bad things happening...

The Thrustmaster ones look great, but I don't know if I'd buy one.

What I would buy is a Star Wars Blaster version of a Wiimote.

Ist that game any good? Lucas Arts in general scares me now days.

I don't know if the game is any good, as it's a Christmas gift. My 7yo is not exactly the most discriminating gamer anyway - if it says Pokemon, LEGO, or Star Wars on the box he's gonna love it.

That's good. Lucas is certainly building his future revenue stream. I'd like to try it, but not buy it, not when Unleashed was such an abomination of an afterthought.
