We got our son the new Clone Wars Lightsaber battles game, and were thinking about getting some of the lightsaber add-ons for the Wiimote. Has anyone tried out either the Kobian Glo Swords or the Thrustmaster Lightsaber units? The Amazon reviews are kind of poloarized - people either love 'em or think they're junk.

Personally, I know my son would go nuts for either of these sets, but I'm not sure how excited I am to put such an LCD-destroying weapon in his hands.:D As a parent, it is very easy to imagine bad things happening...

The Thrustmaster ones look great, but I don't know if I'd buy one.

What I would buy is a Star Wars Blaster version of a Wiimote.

Ist that game any good? Lucas Arts in general scares me now days.

I don't know if the game is any good, as it's a Christmas gift. My 7yo is not exactly the most discriminating gamer anyway - if it says Pokemon, LEGO, or Star Wars on the box he's gonna love it. :)

That's good. Lucas is certainly building his future revenue stream. I'd like to try it, but not buy it, not when Unleashed was such an abomination of an afterthought.
