On my iDevices I only navigate through the hundreds of Playlists I've created. I don't use Artist or Album, only Playlists.

Prior to iOS 5, I could put a wildcard ahead of the playlist name to make sure that it jumped to the top of the list. So if I got a new LP or a new Playlist I love I could put a wildcard before it's name and put it in an easily accessible location. For example:

    * U2's Greatest Songs - would come up in the top 10 Playlists.

U2's Greatest Songs - would come up at #362 because it's alphabetical.

For reasons unknown, in iOS 5 the program sees-thru the wildcard and alphabetizes based on the first letter. So now, using wildcards doesn't help re-order them.

    Any ideas?
