So here's a new one on me - Wileyfox. UK startup offering fairly decent hardware for price of the Moto G and running Cyanogen. For £200 might get one for curiosity - and for the fact it's a British company.

Is it a rebadged OnePlus 1 - or a hybrid of the it and the OnePlus 2 ? Very similar design even the sandstone back and camera part ... I wouldn't be surprised if it was made by OPPO for them.

It looks pretty impressive, and tbh I'm rooting for some UK companies to start making phones in a meaningful way.

It does look nice. When you say rebadged One plus one, does that mean its made by One plus one?

Looks like an awesome phone. It it would work on VZW i might try it. With a name like Wileyfox it just begs the question.

What does the fox say?

£200 would be around $315 - so the OnePlus 2 would likely be better value in the USA comparatively. 810 v 615 processor etc...

The OnePlus 2 is a little more expensive over here. Though the specs on the WileyFox are very comparative to the Moto X Play which if you consider it is going to sell for £289/€380 here - the £199/€275 for the Wileyfox offers very tempting alternative to that ....

I wish these startups would start offering 5" versions of their higher spec models.

5.5" is too big for me. But if I were to buy a phone that size, I'd be concerned by 2500 mAh non-removable battery.

Interesting but the AC shots show an awfully yellow screen on the Storm.

Swift seems better value than Moto G which, at almost £200 for the 16gb/2gb variant is not that great a value proposition in the UK.

Wonder how long it'll take for the CM relationship to go sour

For £199, I'll probably order one to see what it's like, have something different and to support a UK phone company.

Yeah I've got a cousin who needs a new phone as his Moto G has died, might recommend taking a look at this.
