Will 2.5 amp be enough to charge Macbook retina?

As title looking at a dock for apple watch and phone but it also has a usb that outputs 2.5amps will this charge the retina macbook?

Yes but slowly, as it will be at 5v (so similar to an iPad charger) - The MacBook charger is 2A at 14.5V. The net result is about 10w vs 29w.

When you say very slow do you think this would be powerful enough to charge fully overnight?

Should work. Considering the 29w charger uses roughly 2 hours to fully charge it the 10w one should take roughly 6 hours. So easily within charging overnight.
