if i can fit 2000 pics, 50 apps and 10 videos on this phone ill be happy, think i can do that with 32gb?
Depends on the size of the apps, quality and length of the videos, quality of the pics. The best way to gauge is what is your current iPhone/smartphone size? Does it fit your needs or are you constantly constrained on space?

Ok I have calculated I can have 2,000 photos 80 apps and 500 songs with the 32gb model, thats pretty good in my opinion, what do you guys think?

Remember though, you don't have 32GB free, you have 32GB total. Usable space is less than 30, like 27 or something (can't remember exactly, I kept my 32 only a few days before getting my 256). Plus the new camera will often store multiple files for 1 photo... it can add up pretty quickly.

Like I said before, I would go for 128 if I were you - it all comes down to how much you can spend on it...

After having a 32Gb for 2 weeks, I don't think it will be enough for a 2 year time period. I've already used 3.5gb in the 2 weeks, bringing my available space from 16.5 to right under 13. And I am even removed a bunch of apps. Picking up a 256gb instead this afternoon as that's the only thing available RIGHT NOW before end of my return period.

I've always felt like 64 was the sweet spot, and have a 64gig iPhone 6 right now. I was thinking of upgrading to an iPhone 7, and was wondering if the 32 would suffice? Photos seem to be the bulk of my storage needs, but since I've started paying for iCloud storage, it seems to take care of that.

The other big space occupier for me is music, but with T-mobile's high speed data not counting toward music apps, I don't feel the need to store a lot of music files if I can just stream without using up my data. So I've been considering grabbing a 32g iP7.

What do you guys think?

We are in the same position and that's why I'm still waiting to buy it since the +128GB is sold out in my country.

I couldn't fit everything into the 32GB model, but is different for everyone.

What are the main things taking up space on your phone? And do you have iCloud storage (> than the free 5G)?

how much space are you using currently?

"640KB should be enough for everybody." ('1981)
"16GB storage is enough for iPhone users. We no longer need vast amounts of local storage." ('2015)
"1 USB port is enough. Macbook isn’t for everyone." ('2015)
"More than 16GB memory wouldn't be efficient enough for Macbook Pro." ('2016)

So the answer is NO but I chose 32GB not because it's enough but because I can live with it for a year since I put all docs in cloud storages and don't take videos or listen music. I'm going to order iPhone 8... 10 months later.

I had a 32 GB iPod Touch and I had everything I needed on it, pictures, Social Media and all the games I could ask for and I didn't even fill it up half way. I don't see how 128 is necessary but I guess everyone is different. I will be getting an Iphone 6s Plus 32 GB next week so I'm going to be satisfied.

That's the thing. I used to be filled up (well, almost) but since I started paying for 200GB of iCloud storage and moved all my photos on there, I find myself wondering if I could make do with 32.
right, after moving all the stuff to icloud, are you well below 32GB or still near/above that?

32GB is more than enough for me.
I usually transfer pictures and videos to my computer at home every few months in order not to pile up and fill it up.
Before I was getting by with 16GB ok, now with 32GB Im even better.

At about 20gigs used right now with all my apps (not a huge gamer and I stream all my music). I've got 80Gigs of photos, but it's all on iCloud. Just worried about the switch because I never even considered the 16, but the 32 seems doable.

looks like from your usage habits you can get by with 32gb just fine

I think it could be. Paying for extra storage space in iCloud helps for pictures like you already see. The other thing I did was buy iTunes Match which covers the music for you. All your music available to you on any device via iCloud.

Music, videos and photos. Also IG and Snapchat take a lot of space with their caches.

I don't have iCloud, I save everything on the device, MBP and a hard disk. Not a friend of having everything in the cloud...kinda old fashioned lol

i barely managed with a 16GB and got used to managing it. Now I have a 32GB and have 16GB storage available. My phone has been set up the way i want for a while now and my storage remains about 16-15GB available

It's pretty simple, if you can afford it get 128gb. If not, get the 32gb.

128gb gives you more flexibility.

Thanks for the input! That's what I was thinking. I use Spotify primarily for music, and used to have everything saved for "offline listening" which took up space, but with T-Mobile not counting Spotify against data usage, I can just stream it.
