I have almost never seen you before, and you're a mod?

Knox is a behind-the-scenes guy...mostly involved with the technical aspects of running the site. No offense intended toward others responsible for running this site, but I think MR might just suck if Knox wasn't involved...he's done a lot for us over the years.

I plan on having children at some stage. On that day, I expect them all to join MacRumors and start posting. Hopefully this won't see the demise of MacRumors.
You are right, you better forwarned arn to get the best and latest servers before they join. I wouldn't want macrumors to crash due to overload. :D

Holy time warp batman!

On another note, that record might actually stand for a while.

1. Now that Apple is more popular, there are more rumour sites. we have several now, and some of them are getting quite popular, spreading the load.

2. In the intel age, updates are a) smaller and more frequent (in theory anyway) and b) more predictable as Intel is more open about their roadmaps and release dates (and the competition uses the same chips as Apple now). Hence an update is less of a special event.

3. We're unlikely to see for many years as much of a drastic change and performance leap as occurred with the PPC/Intel transition.

WWDC might see some big numbers, but i don't know if we'll beat the # then even, as RedTomato points out, there are lots of forums and sites now besides MacRumor, although we are the premiere site, are we not :p

Well, wha'dya know. Finally. Boom!
