will 6 cases (Apple), fit the new 6S?

I know they are nigh on the same size, the 6 and the 6S, but will the original Apple 6 silicone and leather cases fit the new 6S?

On the web, it just lists the silicone and leather as for the 6S, but says compatibility is 6 and 6S, but are these new or the original ones from the 6?

I would *think* that if Apple states that they'll fit both, they should, regardless of whether or not they were manufactured specifically for the 6S or the 6. That actually gives me some comfort for my 6S+, as I have a TON of cases for the 6+.
 
Apple have revised the case discriptions already.

Most certainly does, just grabbed a nice saddle brown leather 6s case for my 6 and it's awesome.

yes but are these new cases that are for the 6S manufactured, or the original ones, that they've just said will fit?

But what about an existing, last year's 6 case to this year's 6S, won't know specifically until 6S out, but ape haven't really officially said

I don't think anyone will know until we get the devices in our hands...

I personally ordered another leather case in the same color just to be safe and if my old case fits i'll probably use that.
 
I need to know this as well. I have a 6 Plus leather case in good condition and want to reuse it. My new 6s Plus arrives on the 25th. If I find that my old case doesn't fit, I will have no way to protect my new phone until I can find a 6s Plus case in stock, and that might be challenging. Does someone have time to chat with Apple and ask?
 
Anyone confirm this now please? Specifically the official Apple leather and silicone, but also other cases?
