Will a 2nd gen iPad Pro 12.9 case fit a 1st gen?

This is oddly specific but I’ll try my luck.

So I just got a 1st gen 12.9 iPad but it seems to be such a combination of old and rare that none of my local stores have cases for it, only for the 2nd gen.

I know the camera location has changed and now there’s a flash, but does anyone know if it still fits a 1st? (i.e. the camera hole in the case also lets the 1st gen camera through?) I don’t need a perfect fit, just for it to actually fit. This is a little urgent so I’m trying to avoid going to the depths of Amazon to get a case that might be low quality.

In *case* it might help, I’m running on the inverse set up. I have 2nd gen 12.9 inside a perfectly fitting 1st gen Logitech Create keyboard case. The camera hole is exactly the same, but I intend to use my Dremel one day to carve it out further for the now-covered up flash. So you may have a tiny extra bit of the iPad back exposed from the flash divit on a 2nd gen case.

Can only vouch for the Logi Create 1st gen, which by the way is still looking and working like new after 3 years’ hard labour. Brilliant keyboard, case never popped off iPad, sturdy platform to type and link with SmartConnect, really great build quality and finish. Might be worth looking for a used one!

Good to know the camera is in the same place! I thinki I'll try my luck with a 2nd gen case then.

The microphone for video is also in a different spot on the two devices, but other than that and the flash they are very similar.
