On an iPhone 11 running iOS17, if you block a contact first, and then delete that contact, will that contact or the number associated with it still show up on the blocked list menu in the settings app?

Will a blocked contact who was deleted later stay on the blocked list in the settings app?

Probably. My blocked numbers don’t tend to be contacts,so I’ve never checked.
Simple enough to test though. Look at the Blocked list, find someone that is in your contacts. Then delete the contact, see if they’re still there.
