Will a PS3 bluetooth controller work with the new ATV?

Unfortunately you need a controller that uses Apple's own protocol. These are marked as MFi (Made for iPhone/iPad/etc).
 
Isn't it such a joke? Tim Cook is so proud of saving the planet by omitting the audio port but no, you can't reuse your existing gaming controllers.
