Will a US iPad sync to a foreign store ?

As the title - have we any confirmations that the US iPad will work with the UK store (for example) okay ?

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't, but just curious if anyone's done it yet.

IIRC the store is related to the account, not to the iPad
