Will Adobe AE CS5.5 on my Macbook 4.1 decently ?

The laptop I have is a Macbook 4.1 with 2.4 GHz Intel C2D with 4 GB of 667 MHz RAM. I am about to upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard this week. Also, I will be using a 1 TB external HDD to run media from and use as a scratch disk. Will AE CS5.5 run on this set-up decently enough where it wont crash? I understand renders will be tediously long and excruciating, but this Macbook is all I have to practice with because 43 hour work weeks disallows me for time to head to school and use the iMacs there for learning CS5.5 ... Need to practice at home.

I am sure it will be fine. I am using it on my MBP 3,1 with 4GB..no crash issues at all

I recommend you should upgrade your ram to 8GB.

Just max your ram. Does you macbook support an esata card?
