Will Adobe AE CS5.5 on my Macbook 4.1 decently ?

The laptop I have is a Macbook 4.1 with 2.4 GHz Intel C2D with 4 GB of 667 MHz RAM. I am about to upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard this week. Also, I will be using a 1 TB external HDD to run media from and use as a scratch disk. Will AE CS5.5 run on this set-up decently enough where it wont crash? I understand renders will be tediously long and excruciating, but this Macbook is all I have to practice with because 43 hour work weeks disallows me for time to head to school and use the iMacs there for learning CS5.5 ... 🙁 Need to practice at home.

I am sure it will be fine. I am using it on my MBP 3,1 with 4GB..no crash issues at all

I recommend you should upgrade your ram to 8GB.

Just max your ram. Does you macbook support an esata card?
