Will an apple ip7 case fit a ip8

need a new phone but I’ve become hooked on the Apple battey case. Plenty of power, ease of one cord charging

If I purchased an iPhone 8 and a charging case for the iPhone 7 I know I give up the wireless charging but the extra battery life if worth it to me.

Anyone know if this will work ?

I'm Surprised Apple wouldn't know, they should have the specifications for both iPhones listed. Perhaps they just don't know which case you would be using to make that claim. But yes, virtually any case should work accordingly, at least by my experiences they have.

Thanks, they told me the spec say the iPhone 8 is a few millimeters taller and wider so it’s not compatible. I asked will it fit and they said since wireless charging is not supported on the Old case they don’t check for compatibility. ?

That's just Apple's way of saying they don't guarantee if the wireless charging will work with your old case or not. In all reality, it should work fine when you go to wirelessly charge the iPhone 8/X with your previous case.
