Will an iPad 3G from USA work with 3G in Denmark?

Hey guys,

I'm considering buying the ipad 3G from the US since it's much cheaper than here in Denmark. My question is if it will work with a Danish microsim or do I need to unlock it first like you have to with iPhones?

The iPads are sold unlocked. As long as carriers in Denmark support the frequencies Apple supports, you're good to go.
