how would i use my new iphone5 to watch videos? This is one of the cons of iphones, can't even watch videos on certin sites

Anyone? Can I watch videos off websites now? Or does another app/program have to open for me to watch it. Or can I even watch it at all?

Flash on iOS? Over Steve's dead body.

There is no need for Flash. Websites should change over to HTML rather than rely on outdated Flash technology.

Not only do I not want flash on my iPhone but I wish my iPhone can somehow block flash on other people's phones also.

I thought Steve made this clear in 2007, 2008, and 2009. No means no? And thank God - flash is horrendous - mobile or not.

It's temperamental. Sometimes works but not always. Still, it is worth having as an app.

Never had any problems with it for the few times I needed it. I can even play Mafia Wars on Facebook with it on my iPad Mini. I find that when you need to play flash video that's not supported by youtube or other, you lose some of the normal control functions for the video and can't let the screen fade or you lose sound. But other that, I haven't witnessed too many problems.

Which video sites are you talking about?

It's been a long, long time since I found a movie that I couldn't watch on my phone.

Youtube, Vimeo, and many others work just fine (and have for years).

Apple basically killed Flash by not supporting it. There's no need for it anymore.

Show me a site that still incorporates flash videos when viewed on a mobile device and I'll show you a site that likely hasn't seen any sort of moderate update this decade or was poorly designed from the start.
