Will Apple have reservations this launch??

Last year they didn't allow us to make a reservation during pre orders to walk in and get a 7plus on launch day. 2 years ago they did. Do you think they will have it this year for the 8 model or are they done with reservations on launch day all together, i hate waiting on the carriers door step for hours the night before or pre ordering cause it never comes on the day its suppose to....

Reservations for the 7 were available in Canada on launch day.

I think it comes down to how much influence the big 4 carriers in the U.S. have on Apple. The iPhone 7 was mildly received by customers and Apple was willing to let carriers have first dibs. With the OLED iPhone, the tables will probably turn. I would expect reservations to be available.

I'd love to stay out overnight for the phone. It's one thing I've always wanted to do when getting caught up in the excitement of it all. Closest I've come to doing similar is queuing with my wife for the Harry Potter books once. Not quite the same lol

Anyway, I don't believe it will happen this year.. they would have continued it last year so perhaps it didn't work as planned or as well as they hoped it would.

My kids starting a new school year and a new iphone every year is the only good things i have in life.

i live in a small town, but i still waited overnight in front of ATT last year and come 7am i could have got there and still got the phone i wanted...lol.. im not a fan or the all night thing...

I like preorder and pickup launch day ,'
if no reservation then people easy to screw up with preorder delivery and wait inline ,
