Really want the new IPad Pro, it sounds like a top notch product. We need the invites either today or on Oct 23, or even November. When do you think Apple will issue them?

iPad Pro Will Apple issue invites or leave us hanging?

If the event is next week we'll get invites by ~1PM EDT this Wednesday or Thursday.
The event won't be the week of the 22nd since Tim Cook is traveling to Belgium.
The event also won't be held on Halloween (since it's Halloween) or November 1st (since the Q4 earnings call is scheduled for that day).
The way I see it the only possible dates left for the event are the 17th, 18th, or 30th.

That's some good process of elimination. And later in November is likely a no-go because of the holiday shopping season, unless they really are having some problems. They've shipped things like AirPods pretty late. But they could always hold the event earlier and release a little later. You'd think Tim wouldn't want to come back jet lagged and have to prepare for an event—but rather get it out of the way. Hopefully next week. All of a sudden I actually might be upgrading my iPad Pro 10.5" because my wife is having problems with her older iPad Mini 2 and said she would like my iPad if I get the new one.
I'm just glad for all the extra time to save. Been waiting to upgrade to an IPP for quite some time now!!!
