We have rumors of the M6 MacBook Ultra launching as early as September, we have the M5 MacBook pro available with as many RAM as you want, yet they cannot release the M5 MacStudio, that's a shame.

Yes they have. And no, such references have not been found.

The site for look for this stuff is https://onejailbreak.com/categories/news/
Although half the news is (IMHO uninteresting) jailbreak details, the other half is obsessive tracking of tech details in each new iOS update (beta or not).
Looks like the most interesting changes in 26.6b1 are various NFC Payment changes.
Okay. Let's see what happens when we analyze the code in the first iOS 27 beta.

I would love to see actual innovation in areas they haven't already beaten the horse to death in.

HomeKit / Wifi / Smart Hub / Smart Accessories / Smart Security

or

Wearables / Glasses

I mean, if you break it down into two events like Apple used to do in September and October, it’s not really that crazy.
So that’s very likely what they will do.
September: new iPhones, Apple watches, base iPad, and iPad mini. Maybe some new AirPods thrown in there as well.
October: M6 Macs and new home products.

Oh. I didn’t know there was a history of two events that close together - September then October. In that case what you say makes perfect sense.

I’d totally forgotten about the M6 MacBook! Having bought my first ever Mac a month ago (M5 Pro MacBook Pro) I’m totally not in the market for an M6 Mac so I suppose it’s understandable that I forgot about all the M6 rumours. I’ll still be super interested to see how the M6 performs though when we do see it in the first products.

Honestly I would be bored if there was no new Apple hardware. All the ai in iOS bores me as I find I don’t need it. I am interested in updates to macOS. watchOS and iPadOS The release of an m5 Mac mini and m5 Mac Studio would be sweet

What about the doorbell and security camera?

Also, would be a great time to get back into routers given the US ban on Chinese owned router makers.

Been dreaming of a new Airport series of routers for years now (which essentially is being done by my 16e’s hotspot). .

Apple please don’t announce any new hardware at WWDC.

Track record of products announced at WWDC seem like they are DOA or take years before we see upgrades.
Let’s see, we have Vision Pro, MacPro, M2Ultra, Pro Display XDR, HomePod; hmmm, only break out is MBA 2023.

Products announced at WWDC are for dev kits and unlikely run-away success stories.

just my humble opinion…

By the time Apple release the Apple TV and the new Homepod Mini the hardware will be 12 months out of date.
The Apple TV will need a upgrade from the A17 to the A19.
We need this and extra ram to help the poorly optimised games on TVOS to not lag as much.

Somehow I doubt it’ll be the new Apple TV 4K. They’ll keep inventing delays until the hardware is old enough it needs a refresh again before it releases. I remember this new 4K was supposed to release back in 2023-2024 timeframe. Now we are 2-3 yrs down road still with no updated hardware.

Then just come on stage and announce that Apple has officially ended all sales of desktop computers from that day forward. No point having a website or Apple Store with placeholder sections for Mac Mini’s, iMac’s, and Mac Studios. Just throw im the towel and make the full switch to mobile and portable devices.

Wow, come check out our two updated displays it don't have any computers for sale to go with them. What an expert marketing plan.

I’m wondering though - there’s a global memory shortage, but for some reason, it’s only affecting Apple. I have yet to find any major PC manufacturer with no stock of desktop computers. But Apple has excuses.

Something doesn't compute. Apple's stock situation on the Mini and Studio is bizarre, even by the rarified standards of this year's supply chain. The Mini is showing 3-4 weeks in 16GB, 5-6 weeks in 24GB and 10-12 in 48 and the Mini M4 Pro is showing 10-12 weeks in both 24 and 48GB RAM configurations, and 64GB is off the table entirely. As for the Studio, 512GB was dropped in March, and 256 and 128 in April, leaving 96 as the top configuration, and 9-10 weeks for the baseline 64GB configuration, 16-18 weeks for the upgraded M4 Max GPU or for the Ultra with 64 to 96GB. These are insane delays, and the only way out at least in the US is finding one of the relative handful of lower memory configurations still in the channel at chains like MicroCenter.

This is an extreme bottleneck especially when you consider that even the 128GB Macbook Pro is easily available in the standard 4TBSSD Space Black version (sometimes a little tighter in silver) and available at no more than about a four week delay on CTO.

I have to assume they are hoarding components for something.

M4 uses LPDDR5-7500 RAM, M4 Pro uses LPDDR5X-8300 RAM and M5 Pro uses LPDDR5X-9600 RAM on board the SoC. Image of M4 Mini from iFixit.

Not watching any events until Crook are gone.
I read the news on MacRumors.

I am pretty sure that I don't need what Crook will release in his latest hours anyway.

Ok, personally I have nothing against Craig, he even have some good humor, at times.
But if that doesn't hit folks right, ah well.
Shadows are casted on a lot of people at Apple from the top at the moment.
Apple are nothing more then some products I need, that's all. The company is irrelevant to me.
