If they do strengthen the 6s, they'll not say anything about it. That will be all but admitting there is a problem (read lawsuits). Instead they'll either make the enclosure more rigid w/o saying anything or redesign the case (which is unlikely for an S model)

they won't do anything about it.

there's really no problem apart from some trolls and youtubers making a point they can bend phones.

Apple would have some explaning to do to the millions of iPhone 6 users....face a possible lawsuit.

if Apple does think there's a problem they will apply it on the iPhone 7.

If Apple would just stop with the "thinner thing" for the 7!

Not much they can do about the 6 and 6S

Doubt they would stop with thinner. They may do flexible design, who knows.
And I think the guy you are quoting is right, this thing is totally blown out of proportions and not for the first time.

I read Apple reported NINE people reporting bending.

I'm sorry but you have to get warning signals when attempting to sit down that something is amiss before bending this thing. OR be obese to the point you don't notice it.

This is all so incredibly ridiculous but generates nice hits for websites I suppose.

Yes. There is no way Apple keeps this current size of the Plus. Not with those bezels. The current plus is a one and done. Expect a shorter model, maybe a tinge wider which will help with the bending.

There is nothing wrong with the 6 or 6+.

Crap will bend if you apply enough force. In your pocket, while sitting, on a fat ass will bend it.

Or make a crappy youtube video and it will bend as well.

I read in today's newspaper an article on this "bending" thing. It's all over.

Obviously they will redesign (redesign is a bad word) the 6S. Even if it is minor, it doesn't make sense to not make an adjustment if there is a certain issue with the current build.

I hope for the first time in Apple iPhone history, due to this bend-gate, Apple goes from 6/6+ to iPhone 7 and be rid of the negativity that surrounds the 6.

There's never a design change on the s version of the phone. Only specs and so....

To everyone who says that the 6s+ won't have an exterior redesign, please recall that the iPhone 4s had a slight exterior redesign to address the antenna issue in the iPhone 4. I would not be surprised to see some changes.

It won't happen as there's no issue apart from a youtuber who is trying to make the point that a phone bends when under immense pressure...

Maybe strengthen the frame, or add internal supports, but I wouldn't expect the overall design to change.

I think bend-gate is exaggerated BS meant to generate headlines and clicks, and WAY too many people bought it hook, line, and sinker because bad Apple news is always the most interesting.

It's really sad. :(

I would by a 6+ without hesitation (and probably will when my upgrade date arrives).

They aren't changing a thing.

They are already working on the next two phone versions. This one is in the books. They can't just add reinforcment. There is no room. They would have to reengineer the whole phone.

If anything comes of it you might be able to screem and get a free case. Sound familiar?

So it's only the 6+ that people are reporting of any bending, not the 6, right?

The false reportings, are on the iPhone 6 Plus.
The iPhone 6 didn't even get false reporting, no one even claims its bending. If you have 4s I think it's will be a wise choice to buy the 6 (like me, I have the 5 and I'm waiting for the 6s)
