Noticed my camera has a few orbs when taking pictures and on the screen. There are no scratches on the lens so wondering since apple is so stingy with replacements now.. will they attempt to replace the camera or just replace out right?

How old is your iPhone? When did you buy it? What model is it?

Applecare is usually 1 year after purchase as long as it is a new phone purchased from Apple.

AppleCare+ is 2 years from purchase date.

I forgot to mention, its iPhone 7 which would still be under original warranty

Can you post some images. Under certain conditions the small lens can have reflections when pointed at a strong light source. Not much you can do, not a defect, just a characteristic of the lens.

I can do that later, but in all my years owning an iPhone.. I've never had this happen other than my back camera completely die out of nowhere.

I took it in and the wait was too long, going back Tuesday. Its def something out of the normal as I showed the genius and at first it was hard to see due to lighting then he saw it and said... what the heck thats weird. he kept looking at the lens and even he said I don't see any scratch to cause that

Went today, they didn't swap the phone but instead fixed the camera.

kinda annoying only because I've had the screen replaced once so now worried with it being opened twice and somehow the water resistance won't be as good in my opinion
