iPad Will Apple replace screen on the original iPad?

The original iPad was only offered in black. That is likely an iPad 2. Looks like Apple will replace the screen for $249.

just ordered an air 2 with wifi and cellular for £250. 16GB seems a good deal to me really. Cheaper and gives her a newer iPad.

what does the air 2 ship with software wise? she is on 9.3.5 right now. guessing she may need to update the software on her old one to get a backup to work on the air 2?
You can take a back up from an older OS and go to the new air two and It will restore from the backup on a new os version no problem nothing you have to do on your end
ah so i will be able to use an older backup? thanks...is it just if i have a backup with a higher IOS update where i can't do it?
