Will apple solder a connector back on the logic board?

I recently opened my laptop to clean it out and then i broke the connector if i take to apple will they solder it back on? I already schedules the appointment for something else and then this happened😡😡

Nope. The only option they will provide is a full logic board replace. $700 in store or around $300 at depot.

It's possible that more than just the connector was pulled off of the logic board. It's surprisingly easy to lift pads on small SMT parts.

It is worth a try, you might get lucky. The reps are nice sometime and in some cases will go beyond to do what they can for free.

If not, look for a local shop that specializes in Apple products. The cost shouldn't be more than $50 to do a basic repair.

What connector is it?

Itsonly the fan connector and I'm almost 100% sure that's the only one I touched!
