Will Apple TV ever support Amazon Instant Video? Sure, they are competitors. However, there should be a business model that exploits both companies areas of expertise in a win-win situation.

Then I would have to stream my MBA to the plasma. :D

If you have an iPad or iPhone, you can install the Amazon app and then airplay your purchased videos to the ATV. It works great.

I doubt it and not just Amazon Instant Video, there are not channels in the apple tv that is a direct competitor of iTunes (Vudu, Blockbuster, etc).

I would guess it will at some point. There were those who thought they would never allow a Netflix client because it competes with iTunes, and we ended up with Netflix.

This was my thought as well, but you beat me to it. Amazon Instant is like Netflix, and that is there.

We will probably see a whole range of streaming services if an app store arrives on the Apple TV, but I think there will be few until then.

It wouldn't surprise me if Apple allowed an Amazon Prime app, one that allowed people to stream their Prime Instant accounts but not necessarily purchase titles from...
